this is the archive, here you will find all the documentation the cabin exchange projects that have happened since 2002, the site creates another context for over 120 cabin works to be seen accompanied by extensive documentation - photographs, video, audio, drawings, essays, articles and animations.

2002 cabin exchange was conceived and curated by will foster who engaged help from other people.

2003 had the potential to be a larger work, over a longer period of time and working with more artists.
to take on the extra organisation the curation team expanded to a group of four artists from glasgow; will foster, charlotte bosanquet, stephen jakub and ayesha fuentes artists.

in 2004 cabin exchange was curated by the following five artists:

will foster, beth hamer, stephen jakub, alice dansey-wright.

It is our aim that in subsequent years we will invite more curators to cabin exchange and expand the roll of curator, ideally all the artists involved could take on all curatorial decisions and responsibility on an equal level to the curators, dissolving any distinctions.
